Roaster Koppi - September 2022 Release

I’m a fan of Kenyan coffees, I admit it, and this one ranks right up there with some of my all-time faves. It swells with cherries and berries, brown sugar, cranberry tang, grapefruit zest and pink lemonade acidity that sparkles. The silky-creamy mouthfeel with a clean, bright, refreshing finish makes this coffee a stunner.

Notes: I brewed this several times over 10 days and found the profile to deepen from the lighter fruit notes (like those found in Pinot Noir from the Willamette valley) to tart cherry, black currants, blackberry and lime acidity with a fresh raspberry burst on the finish. Recently I brewed a cup on Kalitta from my vacuum sealed and frozen “vault” and found it to be softer overall but just as fresh and fruity.
