OREGON
Review
This smooth medium-bodied coffee has flavors of pecan and strawberry in a cherry syrup sweetness. It’s a medium roast profile with the juiciness of white grapes and guava. Sweet tropical fruit and berry notes persist as it cools. The clean and crisp aftertaste suggest that this is very well produced and finished coffee. It is also certified organic. Kudos.

Roaster notes: This coffee is a a wonderful example of high-quality coffee from the Tolima region in Colombia. This single producer lot comes from the co-op ‘ASOTBILBAO’ that we have been working with since 2015. It’s created by Hermes Laguna, who grew up farming coffee and now runs his farm with his wife, Luz Mery, along with the help of their three sons. Over the past few years, they’ve decided to focus on quality coffee rather than just producing for volume and this coffee displays the fruits of his efforts - it’s objectively outstanding.
