MONARCH COFFEE

Review

What you notice at first sip with this Kenyan coffee is the creamy mouthfeel creating a beautiful texture and supporting the flavor profile. Notes of blackberry, honey, vanilla, rose florals and grapefruit make for a very tasty presentation. When brewed on the Origami dripper (compared to V60) there was more complexity with blackberry and boysenberry flavors, some hibiscus on the finish while the creamy mouthfeel was still present. This is a lively interesting coffee with a classic Kenyan profile from the folx at Monarch. Well done!
