Manhattan Coffee Roasters - August 2021 Release
Aromas of cedar and vanilla mingle with flavor notes of macadamia and cocoa in this smooth supple coffee from a third generation coffee farmer in Colombia. There are tropical overtones, a mild citric acidity and slightly syrupy mouthfeel. I picked up a hint of cinnamon spice and a distinct aftertaste of red apple and mandarin. It finishes clean and fresh on the palate. There is balance here and a harmony of flavors that really works. My favorite brew for this one was on V60 with a P70 fast filter and TBT of under 3:15 mins.
