Passenger Coffee - April 2022 Release

This is a lovely coffee with the aroma of sweet peaches and a delicate mouthfeel and sweet lingering aftertaste. Flavors of peaches and nectarines, brown sugars, violet florals, marzipan and tea-like notes co-mingle in this nuanced, delicate brew. The smooth and silky mouthfeel and a cherry-like finish make the aftertaste lingering and pleasant but light on the palate. Notes of almond extract as it cools and persistent sweetness mark this as another exceptional coffee from the team at Passenger.

I brewed it on V60 at 5 days post roast (see notes above) and again at 4 weeks post-roast with great results: rose florals, peach, nectarine and tea notes, satiny mouthfeel, delicate body, white grape juice, honey and nougat-rhubarb on the finish.
