Cupping Room Coffee Roasters - August 2021 Release

At first sip you notice the lightness in body, satiny mouthfeel and lingering aftertaste of mild bitterness reminiscent of green tea. Both floral and fruity aromas emerge as this coffee cools. Flavor notes include toffee, green apple, kiwi, lemon, bergamot, pecan and stewed strawberries. Overall the coffee is balanced as to acidity, sweetness and bitterness.

Brewing notes: The first brew (above) was on the Origami dripper with a P70 fast filter and TBT of 2:57. Brewed on Kalita, the profile was similar yet more dynamic: flavor notes of lemon curd, blueberry compote, a hint of marmalade and nougat with soft acidity, juicy mouthfeel and sweetness of figs and pears. The green tea emerges at the finish with cooling temperatures as do aromas of fresh blossoms and mandarin.
