Heart Coffee Roasters - December 2021 Release

First impressions are important and this coffee delivers an aroma burst that is striking and reminiscent of “tutti frutti” gum. On the palate flavors of jolly rancher cherry and grape candies and guava mingle with maple and a hint of cocoa in this sweet, silky brew. With crisp berry acidity and a fresh tartness of cranberries this coffee is balanced and clean. The mouthfeel is lingering and pleasant with a soft note of hibiscus and cane sugar. Highly recommended.

Note: The coffee brews well on V60 and Origami with a V60 filter. After a few more days post-roast it calmed a bit with less intense fruitiness but still had lovely balance and a soft-tart finish. Flavor notes were plentiful: watermelon, grapefruit juice, purple lollipop and toffee.
