Sweetness of caramel mingles with flavors of nectarine in this creamy coffee from Yobani Ramos. The Caturra variety is featured here and it’s a great example of how polished a coffee can be when it’s produced, processed and finished well. There’s a light fruitiness here and an acidity akin to the juice of fresh plums. As it cools, notes of papaya emerge as well as cola and cane sugar. It’s refined and nicely layered.
