Square Mile Coffee Roasters April 2021 Release

This natural process coffee from Brazil strikes all the right notes: fruity, intense, syrupy body and juicy. Some naturals will leave you with a muddled aftertaste but not this one. The flavor notes are cherry-strawberry, cola, lemon and a light plum skin astringency. There are some florals here too, reminiscent of lavender. A balanced rich cup.

Note: Developed in Brazil, the variety Catucaí, is the result of a natural cross between the better known Catuaí and another variety Icatu which was then selected over several generations for superior cup quality and disease resistance. Icatu is derived from Bourbon and C. robusta lineage.
