Roseline Coffee - February 2022 Release

Black tea and orange blossom are the first hints that this is a classic washed Ethiopian coffee. The brew is sweet and lightly syrupy with notes of lemon curd, rose florals, mandarin and honey and a lingering aftertaste. There is fresh acidity of pluot juices on the palate at the finish. Overall, the flavor notes are so well integrated that it requires some attention to identify each one but that is only a compliment to what we call “harmony” in specialty coffee. Kudos.

Notes: per Roseline: Kokosa is our second release of the year produced by Heleanna Georgalis and her company MOPLACO. Heleanna is known for her love of experimentation and willingness to take risks in order to create a transcendent cup of coffee. Her farming and processing practices are the absolute gold standard, diverse and honed over time.
